The majority of Ice Mountain spring water comes from three springs located in the great state of Michigan. Meet Arlene, a Michigander who is part of a team of hydrogeologists and field experts who monitor water flows, track precipitation levels and study the areas' biodiversity. All of this is to help ensure the springs and their surrounding areas are responsibly managed and to get high quality water delivered to you.

Showing Up For Our Communities
We are committed to communities and environmental stewardship in the Midwest because healthy watersheds are vital to healthy communities. For example, since 2002, the Ice Mountain Environmental Stewardship Fund has provided grants to organizations to support conservation, enhancement, and restoration projects. As of 2024, the Fund has benefited more than 28 organizations through nearly $900,000 in grants.
In 2019, we built the award-winning Twin Creek Nature Area which helps protect water quality, preserves and enhances native ecosystems, and provides outdoor learning experiences for visitors and student groups. We support local recycling groups and other environmental minded organizations through donations and volunteerism.

RECYCLING MATTERS
Our bottles are designed to be recyclable, and are made with labels designed to reduce contamination in the recycling stream by peeling off more easily during the recycling process. Approximately 30% of PET bottle plastic is recycled in the U.S. Together, we can increase this number. The more plastic you recycle, the more plastic we can use to create new recycled bottles*. The result? Less plastic waste is generated.
